Westview High School's Korean Pop Culture Dance Club was founded in 2017 by a girl who wanted to spread her love for Korean pop culture. The purpose of the club is to provide a fun and safe environment for students to learn modern Korean pop dances along with peers that share similar interests. The club also expands awareness of K-Pop to all of Westview through performances to prove that K-Pop is more than Gangnam Style and boys with makeup. Members are not required to have any prior dance experience (in fact, many members come with absolutely no dance experience!). We aim to show that dancing is not about perfection, but about the experience and the fun of it. Join us to learn dances, meet new people, and build your confidence. Don't be scared to go all out!
